We now turn our Attention to the NYCT Subway in KINGS County (Brooklyn). In this Blog, we will deal with what is know as the West End Line. The Current West End Line is the D, N & R Trains along 4th Avenue in KINGS County (Brooklyn).

As I stated in My Blog on the J Train in New York County, The CURRENT FIRST & LAST Stop of the J & Z Trains is Broad Street in the Downtown Area of NEW YORK County (Manhattan). Once upon a Time, when the M Train was Brown, it used to continue after Broad Street & then Meet up with the R Train in the Montague Tunnel. My Proposal is that the J & Z Trains should be extended from Broad Street & continue along the current Tunnel & meet up with the R Train in the Montague Tunnel. The R Train travels along the Montague Tunnel which connects South Ferry-Whitehall Street with KINGS County (Brooklyn). In My Last Blog, (the N, Q, R & W Trains in NEW YORK County), I mentioned the W Train CURRENT FIRST & LAST Stop is South Ferry-Whitehall Street in NEW YORK County. I Propose the W Train be Extended to KINGS County (Brooklyn).

The FIRST Stop in KINGS County (Brooklyn) for the CURRENT R Train is Court Street. This is where You transfer to the Borough Hall Stop where You can Transfer to the 2, 3, 4 & 5 Trains. Court Street would be the Future Stop of the J, R, W & Z Trains. The Next Stop is Jay Street-Metrotech. This is where You Transfer to the A, C & F Trains. This is the CURRENT R Train Stop & would become the Future Stop of the J, R, W & Z Trains.

As I Mentioned in My Blog about the B, D, F & M Trains (6th Avenue Line), The B & D Trains LAST STOP in NEW YORK County (Manhattan) is Grand Street in Chinatown. After Grand Street, The B & D Train then Travel OVER the Manhattan Bridge to KINGS County (Brooklyn). As I Mentioned in My Blog on the N, Q, R & W Trains, the LAST STOP for the N & Q Trains in NEW YORK County (Manhattan) is Canal Street in the Little Italy/Chinatown Neighborhood. After the Canal Steet Stop, the N & Q Trains travel OVER the Manhattan Bridge to KINGS County (Brooklyn).

The FIRST STOP in KINGS County (Brooklyn) for the B, Q & R Trains is Dekalb Avenue. CURRENTLY, Dekalb Avenue is where the R Train joins the B, D, N & Q Trains. CURRENTLY, Dekalb Avenue is where You Transfer between the B, N (overnight), R & Q Trains. According to My Proposal, Dekalb Avenue would be the Transfer stop for the D, J, Q, R, W & Z Trains. My Recommendation for anyone getting off @ Dekalb Avenue is to go to Juniors Restaurant, which is located @ the Northwest Corner of Dekalb & Flatbush Avenues, which is right above the Dekalb Avenue Station.

After Dekalb Avenue, The B & Q Trains turns off to become the Brighton Line, which we will go into more detail in another Blog. The Next Stop for the CURRENT D, N & R Trains is Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center. This is where You Transfer to the B & Q Trains along the Brighton Line. This is where You Transfer to the 2, 3, 4 & 5 Trains. This is also where You Transfer to the LIRR. I would have the B Train go back to its original Route along the West End Line & the D go back to its original Route on the Brighton Line. According to My Proposal, This would be a LOCAL (J, R, W & Z TRAINS) & EXPRESS (B & N TRAINS) Stop.

The Next Stop is Union Street, which is a LOCAL (CURRENT R Train, Proposed J, R, W & Z Trains) Stop. The Next Stop is 9th Street, which is a LOCAL (CURRENT R TRAIN, PROPOSED J, R, W & Z Trains) Stop. Transfer here for the F & G Train 4th Avenue Stop. I Propose we change the Name of the Station to Gowanus-9th Street. The Next 2 Stops are Prospect Avenue & 25th Street, which are BOTH LOCAL (CURRENT R TRAIN, FUTURE J, R, W & Z TRAINS) Stop. I Propose we change the name of 25th Street to Greenwood-25th Street.

The Next Stop is 36th Street. This is a LOCAL (CURRENT R, PROPOSED J, R, W & Z TRAINS) & EXPRESS (CURRENT D & N TRAINS, PROPOSED B & N TRAINS) Stop. I Propose we cahnge the name of 36th Street to Greenwood-Sunset-36th Street. After 36th Street, CURRENTLY the D Train, which I Propose the B Train Leaves the 4th Avenue Line & Continues to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. I Propose the Z Train would also leave the 4th Avenue Line after 36th Street & follow what is CURRENTLY the D Train, which I Propose would be the B Train. I will go into further Detail about the Proposed B & Z Trains in another Blog.

The Next 2 Stops are 45th & 53rd Streets, which are LOCAL (CURRENT R TRAIN, PROPOSED J, R & W TRAINS) Stop. I would rename both stops to Sunset Park-45th Street & Sunset Park-53rd Street. The Next Stop is 59th Street, which is a LOCAL (CURRENT R TRAIN, PROPOSED J, R & W TRAINS) & EXPRESS (N TRAIN) Stop. I would rename 59th Street to Sunset Park-59th Street. After 59th Street the N Train leaves 4th Avenue & Continues onto Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. I Propose the W Train would follow the N Train to Coney Island, which I will get into Detail in another Blog.

From this Point Forward, it is ALL LOCAL Stops. Currently it is ONLY the R Train. I Propose the J Train follows the R Train to the Last Stop. The Next Stop for the R Train & Proposed J Train is Bay Ridge Avenue. The Next Stop for the R Train & Proposed J Train is 77th Street, which I would rename Bay Ridge-77th Street. The Next Stop for the R Train & Proposed J Train is 86th Street, which I would change to Bay Ridge-86th Street. The CURRENT LAST STOP for the CURRENT R TRAIN & PROPOSED J TRAIN is Bay Ridge-95th Street.

I Don't Know How the People of Bay Ridge & Richmond County (Staten Island) Feel about this BUT I WOULD SUPPORT Extending the CURRENT R TRAIN & PROPOSED J TRAIN Past Bay Ridge. The Idea is that after Bay Ridge 95th Street, The CURRENT R TRAIN & PROPOSED J TRAIN would turn to the Verrazano Bridge, Go OVER the Bridge to the LAST STOP, which would be the Eltingville Transit Center.
