The Purple Line is a route that is part of the SIRT division. It is also known as the SIRT Bay Ridge Line.

The line starts at a grade level terminal in Port Ivory, making it's way underground to Old Place. The line then runs under Goethals Road, Watchogue Road, Victory Boulevard, Little Clove Road, and Staten Island Expressway. After Shore Acres, the line reaches it's terminal in Bay Ridge to connect to the R train on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line.
